Secretary of State for Vocational Technical Education, Eng. Agostinho Francisco Langa Júnior, has been since yesterday on a two-day working visit to Gaza Province.
The same, essentially aims to verify the operating, management and infrastructure conditions of professional technical institutes existing in that part of the country, specifically the Agrarian Institutes of Chókwè, the Indian Polytechnic, Medium Industrial and Commercial Institute of Inhamissa, and the Industrial and Commercial Institute 7th of September.
On his way to these institutions, the Secretary of State evaluated the infrastructure, the existing equipment and learned about the training process of the qualifications offered, with the purpose of outlining solutions and intervention strategies in the face of the difficulties presented.
At the balance meeting, which brought together the managers of the institutes visited, the Director of the Provincial Services for Social Affairs, Paulo Beirão, trainers and other technicians working in this teaching sub-sector, the Secretary of State made recommendations on improving the teaching quality, referring to the importance of involving internal and external cooperation partners, as well as the productive sector in the process of promoting quality, relevant and inclusive professional technical education.
In the next few days, from the 3rd to the 7th of June, the Secretary of State and his delegation will travel to the province of Inhambane to investigate the training conditions of the Salesian Middle Institute of Inharrime; Agrarian Institute of Inhamússua; Maxixe Medium Institute of Business Administration and Finance; Medium Polytechnic Institute of Massinga; Industrial and Commercial Institute Eduardo Mondlane de Inhambane, and the Hotel Escola of the Institute of IICEM-Inhambane
